- Type-material: 3 syntype workers.
- Type-locality: Cameroon: Jaunde (= Yaoundé) (von Sommerfeld).
- Type-depository: Zoological Museum Hamburg (Stitz, 1916: 371).
- [Note: Hamburg zoological museum was destroyed in World War II; residual type-material may perhaps be in MNHU or ZMUH.]
